One of J Brand's most famous pants, the Houlihan skinny cargo, is making a comeback in the UK! The iconic premium denim brand is one of the worlds leading jeans experts and their take on the skinny cargo pant is incredible! Featuring long outerseam ankle zippers, flap pockets and stitching on the knees, small flaps for pockets on the butt and made from a gorgeous thick twill fabric, the new releases will come in 4 brand new washes, exclusively to the UK! The washes are Vintage Tigers Eye, Vintage Plum, Vintage Carnard and Creamy White. These are the perfect pastel shades for Spring/Summer and right on trend! 

Many celebs have been a fan of the Houlihan pants since they first came out! Everyone from Eva Longoria, Hilary Duff, Amanda Seyfried and Miley Cyrus to Jessica Alba, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwen Stefani and the Kardashians. All have been spotted wearing these wonderful pants! They definitely made J Brand even more famous than they already are, they are the pants that stole the hearts of many ladies during 2010! It's incredible to think they are still going strong after a year and a half! That's how wonderful they are! 

I caught up with J Brand to see why they released the Houlihan again and they stated “We speak to the customer and the customer demanded it. For SS12 we introduced fashion neutral colours.” I'm so glad they listened to the Houlihan lovers! 

I myself love them! I own a few pairs in different washes and I adore them! They are so easy to dress up or down and they add something to an outfit that regular jeans just can't! I'm wearing the Vintage Tiger Eye wash which is my favourite of the newly released shades. Orange is going to be huge for Spring/Summer 2012, it's definitely a popular colour and it looks so much fun in the Houlihan! It's a pastel shade of a burnt orange, it's not too bright and it's not too dull, it definitely suits the vintage look of a cargo pant. 

A lot of pastel shades are popping up on the denim market so even the Vintage Plum and Vintage Carnard are perfect for this coming season! If you are wondering about the size, I take my normal J Brand size of 27 in these as I like a tighter fit, however they can be worn looser and look just as good so you can size up too for a more looser fitting Houlihan. 

The Houlihan is definitely one of my favourite cargo pants that hit the market since the trend started, it's in my top 2! Now us UK ladies have some exclusive colours which you can snap up now and start wearing! You can buy the new 4 shades here at Trilogy for £260
